The education system of New Zealand is similar to that of the UK: 6 years for primary school, 7 years for secondary school, and 3 years for bachelor degree programmes. School year of primary, secondary school and colleges is normally between February and mid December. There are 4 terms for every school year. Students can have 2-3 weeks holiday between terms. For most bachelor degrees, term starts from late February and ends at mid November. First semester will be finished in late June and students can have a 2-3 weeks semester break.
