The length of primary and secondary school is 12 years, which is the same as the new academic structure of Hong Kong: 6 years for primary school, 6 years for secondary school. In Australia, the duration of a bachelor degree programme is usually 3 years. All educational qualification offered in Australia are included in Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). Overseas students can get into a level according to AQF and the highest academic attainment. School year of Australia is between late January and early December. There are 4 terms each year. Students can enjoy 2-3 weeks school holiday in April, July and September.
